Kilmallock made it three wins from three in Group 1 of the Limerick SHC at the weekend.

Shane O'Brien's early goal helped 'The Balbec' to a 1-17 to 0-13 victory over Kildimo/Pallaskenry. Patrickswell come next on four points thanks to their 2-16 to 2-13 win over Ahane on Thursday night, while Na Piarsaigh also have two wins after goals from Adrian Breen (two), Ronan Lynch and Conor Boylan eased them to a 4-23 to 0-16 victory over Doon.

Ahane and Doon have two points each with Kildimo/Pallaskenry pointless.

In Group 2, Limerick captain Declan Hannon scored a goal for Adare on his return from injury, but couldn't prevent top-of-the-table Mungret St Paul's from running out 1-23 to 2-17 winners.
