Former Cork star Neil Ronan rolled back the years by scoring 2-8 (1-2 from play) for Ballyhea in their Cork JHC ‘B’ final victory over St Finbarr’s on Saturday.
The 43-year-old All-Ireland SHC winner was the star of the show as the North Cork club’s second string prevailed by 5-10 to 4-8 at Páirc Uí Rinn to make amends for their 2019 and 2020 final defeats.
Lining out at full forward, Ronan scored an early goal to set them on their way and added a second from a penalty with 13 minutes remaining to seal the win and secure a third county title this month for the black and whites.
