Limerick and Waterford will meet in All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final next Saturday evening, August 7 in a repeat of last year’s final.
The Deise men’s impressive victory over Tipperary at Pairc Ui Chaoimh earlier today books them a slot against the holders next weekend at Croke Park (throw-in 5pm).
The second semi-final will see Cork taking on Kilkenny the following day at headquarters (throw-in 3.30pm) for a place in the Liam MacCarthy Cup decider.
The Rebels saw off Dublin by 2-26 to 0-24 this evening in Thurles, where Tim O’Mahony and Shane Kingston netted the goals while Patrick Horgan weighed in with 0-12 for the winners.
