O’Callaghan Mills pulled off an upset in the weekend’s second Clare SHC semi-final thanks to a late scoring burst against Ballyea.
The underdogs netted 1-3 in injury-time at Cusack Park yesterday to prevail on a scoreline of 2-17 to 1-17.
Tony Kelly hit 1-8 for Ballyea but Colin Grehan’s 65th minute green flag proved to be the difference between the teams at the final whistle.
The Mills’ reward is a final showdown with Sixmilebridge.
The holders edged out Eire Og of Ennis by 0-17 to 1-13 on Saturday.
