The effects of Storm Éowyn weren’t just felt on facilities like the Connacht GAA Air Dome, they also disrupted coverage of the Dublin v Mayo Allianz FL Division 1 game on TG4.
The Irish language station began its league coverage with Galway’s win over Armagh but the second game of the day in Croke Park saw a transmission failure on a number of streams including Sky and the TG4 Player.
Fortunately, the game could still be watched on Saorview, Eir and Virgin.
Those who were without coverage were left perplexed as the TG4 coverage was frozen on highlights of the An Cheathrú Rua v Naomh Padraig All-Ireland Club JFC final.
