This afternoon’s All-Ireland club junior football championship semi-final between An Cheathrú Rua (Galway) and Ballinagar (Offaly) has been given the green light to proceed.
After a pitch inspection this morning at King & Moffatt Dr Hyde Park, it’s all systems go for the last four clash which has a throw-in time of 1pm at the Roscommon venue and will be shown live on Spórt TG4.
It comes after both of today’s All-Ireland club senior football championship semi-finals were postponed yesterday following pitch inspections in Portlaoise and Cavan.
It means that the meeting of Dr Crokes (Kerry) and Errigal Ciaran (Tyrone), along with the showdown between Coolera Strandhill (Sligo) and Cuala (Dublin), will now take place on Saturday, January 11th instead.
Meanwhile, McGovern Park, Ruislip has passed a 12pm pitch inspection which sees the Ulster Club JFC Twinning final between Tara (London) and Naomh Padraig, Muff (Donegal) going ahead at 1pm this afternoon.
