Donegal’s Amy Boyle-Carr has penned a new two-year deal with the Adelaide Crows.
The three-time LGFA Ulster Senior Championship winner joined the Crows last July and went on to make six AFLW appearances in her debut season. News of her decision to stay in Australia is a blow to Donegal who are currently without a manager following John McNulty's recent surprise departure.
“Amy had never played Aussie Rules before she arrived in Australia earlier this year, so to pick it up as quickly as she did is a real credit to how hard she worked,” Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said.
“She brings speed and agility to our team, and we are looking forward to seeing what she can do next season with a proper pre-season under her belt.”
