St Mullins will face Mount Leinster Rangers in the Carlow SHC final after a 3-19 to 1-17 extra-time victory over Bagenalstown Gaels in Saturday's semi-final replay.

An early Conor Kehoe goal helped the winners to a slender 1-7 to 0-9 interval lead before a second major from James Doyle extended their advantage. But in a dramatic finale, underdogs Bagenalstown salvaged a 1-16 to 2-13 draw thanks to a kicked goal from Jamie Clarke and a brace of Craig Doyle frees.

However, St Mullins outscored their opponents by 1-6 to 0-1 in extra-time - the goal coming from Kehoe - as they set up a final showdown with Rangers next Sunday.
