A peak audience of 1,085,400 viewers tuned in to watch the concluding stages of Armagh’s gripping one-point win over Galway last Sunday. The Sunday Game Live reached an average audience of 889,000 on RTÉ2, representing a 76% share of those watching television in Ireland at the time.

Commenting on Sunday's figures, RTÉ Group Head of Sport Declan McBennett said: "As live sport dominates our screens, the draw of the All-Ireland finals remain constant,” RTÉ Group Head of Sport Declan McBennett said.

"A wonderful day for Armagh Gaels and an enthralling final which made lifelong memories for those from the Orchard County."
