Cork GAA have launched a new streaming service for fans at home and abroad to watch the county’s upcoming club championships.

‘Rebels Online’ will stream up to 40 championship games starting this weekend up until the end of October, broadcasting from grounds around the county including Pairc Ui Chaoimh and Pairc Ui Rinn.

This weekend sees the championships getting underway in Cork with Castlehaven playing Carbery Rangers on Friday evening in the Premier senior football championship. Next Friday sees Blackrock taking on Glen Rovers in the Premier senior hurling championship, and it has been confirmed that both games will be free to air as a part of the launch of the new streaming service.

The cost per game, pay per view is €9.99 – €14.99 and per season it is €79.99, with the later package including access to all content on ‘Rebels Online’.

Cork GAA CEO Kevin O’Donovan stated: “Rebels Online will also go far beyond the streaming of matches. It will represent a must-see destination for all Cork GAA fans who wish to either peek behind the scenes or delve deeper into the history of our games. Keeping our supporters up-to-date on all current goings-on, while developing an archive which fully respects those who have gone before, will represent central tenets of the project.”
