The draws for the quarter-finals of the Sigerson Cup have been made following the conclusion of last night’s third round games in the competition.
After their 2-23 to 1-13 win over SETU Waterford, holders University of Galway will face UL next Tuesday evening in a repeat of last year’s final.
DCU are up against MTU Cork on the same evening (7pm), while TU Dublin take on UCD on Wednesday evening.
Having come through last night’s clash with Queen’s University, Belfast in a penalty shoot-out (7-6), UCC will play St Mary’s in the quarter-finals on Wednesday evening at a neutral venue.
All of the quarter-finals have a 7pm throw-in time.
UCD are top of the Sigerson roll of honour with 34 wins, while University of Galway (formerly NUIG) and UCC follow with 23 wins each.
