Dublin GAA have received planning permission to build a new €6.6m Centre of Excellence in Hollystown.

The facility will be located at the former Hollystown Golf Course along the Ratoath Road and is set to include four floodlit pitches, with three of the surfaces sand-based and the other an all-weather pitch.

There are also plans for six dressing rooms, a gym and a treatment room for players.

There will be a covered stand for spectators overlooking the first pitch, as well as an indoor training facility with a pitch (30mx20m).

After receiving the application in May, Fingal County Council granted planning permission to Dublin GAA last Thursday, November 17th.
