Irish rugby legend Ronan O'Gara was in awe of Sean O'Shea after his monster free sent Kerry into the All-Ireland SFC final.
With Kerry and Dublin locked on 1-13 apiece in the fifth minute of injury-time at a sweltering Croke Park, O'Shea showed nerves of steel to slot over the winner from 55 metres out against the wind and into a sea of blue on Hill 16.
It was a score place-kicker par excellence O'Gara would have been proud of. The current La Rochelle coach later tweeted: "Beautiful to watch such balls under pressure. ‘What a strike… middle of the middle… Brilliant, brilliant game.. Seanie boy…"
