Sigerson Cup gets underway

The 2022 Sigerson Cup throws in this evening.
There are three first round matches down for decision. IT Carlow meet Letterkenny IT in Dunganny at 7pm, while Maynooth University are at home to Ryan Cup winners DCU Dochas Eireann at the same time. UL and IT Sligo face off in the UL Grounds at 7.30pm.
The Fitzgibbon Cup gets underway tomorrow week when Mary Immaculate College Limerick take on UCC, UCD face NUI Galway, Maynooth University host DCU and WIT clash with IT Carlow.
The premier third-level GAA competitions return after being cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s finals will take place in IT Carlow, with eight deciders across various grades to be held over five days between February 16-20.
