Eight-time All-Ireland winner Philly McMahon has joined Bohemains FC as a first-team performance coach.

The Dublin defender will work alongside Keith Long and Trevor Croly in the new role.

McMahon previously worked with Croly at Shamrock Rovers between 2012 and 2014 as the Hoops’ strength-and-conditioning coach.

In a statement released on social media yesterday, Bohemains said: "Bohemians can confirm that Dublin footballer Philly McMahon has joined the club as first-team performance coach.

"We are delighted to have him on board, we welcome Philly to Dalymount Park and we wish him the best of luck in his role with our backroom team."
