Mayo GAA has announced a five-year extension to its sponsorship deal with leading sports retailers Elverys.

The deal, which runs until 2025, will see Elverys continue as title sponsor of Mayo GAA and its logo remain on the front of the county jersey for senior and minor teams.

At a county board meeting in Elverys MacHale Park last night, Mayo GAA also confirmed three-year extensions with Smyths Toys as sponsor of all academy teams and O'Neills who will continue as the official manufacturer and supplier of Mayo GAA teamwear.

In a statement on mayogaa.com, Mayo GAA chairman Liam Moffatt said: “Intersports Elverys have been sponsoring Mayo teams for over 20 years and I am delighted that they are going to continue to be working with Mayo GAA for the next five years. Intersport Elverys have been fantastic sponsors of our teams down through the years and I would like to place on record our gratitude to them for continuing to be our title sponsor."

"Intersport Elverys are a prime example of how a local company can have a national and international presence. They have given employment to many Mayo people across the country through their vast shop and online presence and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the coming years.

"I also very much welcome the continuation of our association with Smyths Toys and O’Neills. Both are Irish owned companies who have been long-time supporters of Mayo GAA and I am delighted to be able to announce that Mayo GAA will continue to work with both of them in the coming years.

"We are very thankful to Intersport Elverys, Smyths Toys and O’Neills for their continued support."
