Tipperary will play Kilkenny while Dublin face Cork in the All-Ireland senior hurling championship semi-finals next month following the results of today’s quarter-final clashes.
Tipp were 1-28 to 2-17 winners over Galway at the TUS Gaelic Grounds where they held a five-point lead at half-time before Colm Molloy registered the game’s first goal for the Tribesmen five minutes into the restart.

Liam Cahill’s men would go on to dominate from there however, holding a 0-26 to 1-14 lead by the time Oisin O’Donoghue sent in their goal in the 56th minute.
The margin between the sides would be 13 points heading into the closing 10 minutes prior to Declan McLoughlin hitting the net for Micheál Donoghue's side in what proved their last outing of the season.
The Premier men now march on to a semi-final date with Kilkenny on July 6th, while Dublin’s shock 2-24 to 0-28 win over Limerick at Croke Park earlier on sees them returning to HQ two weeks’ from today for a last four showdown with Munster champions Cork.
