Tipperary football boss Philly Ryan says his side are hoping they can extend their season with a win over Leitrim this weekend.
After having lost their first two outings against Sligo and Kildare, the Premier men need a win over Leitrim in Mullingar on Sunday week in order to keep their hopes of a preliminary quarter-final place in the Tailteann Cup alive.
Speaking to TippFM Sport this week, Ryan said he’s hoping for a big performance from his group against their Connacht counterparts at TEG Cusack Park.
“It was always going to come down to the Leitrim game in the last game so we’ll have a go at that,” he stated.
“We’ll have a look at Leitrim during the week and we’ll go at it and hope for the best.
“We’ll be looking to qualify and keep going and keep a little bit of a run going and keep the progress going in here with the lads.”
