Jimmy Minogue has been elected as the new Tipperary GAA chairman in succession to Joe Kennedy.
The Nenagh Éire Óg clubman was elected unopposed at last Saturday night’s annual convention in FBD Semple Stadium. He is the third Nenagh man to hold the position after Michael Gleeson and Frank Moloney.
The outgoing vice-chairman previously served as north board chairman for three years and also a county board development officer and Munster Council delegate. Among his objectives are to complete the works at Dr Morris Park and FBD Semple Stadium.
