Tipperary and Kilkenny fought out an exciting draw in last night's Amanda Stapleton benefit match in Borrisoleigh.
With Brendan Cummins, Lar Corbett, Henry Shefflin and Tommy Walsh among a stellar cast, Kilkenny led by 1-15 to 1-10 at half-time, but helped by a brace of Pa Bourke goals, Tipp battled back with the wind in the second half to earn a 2-23 to 3-20 draw.
A big crowd turned out for the game which was organised to raise funds for Amanda Stapleton - sister of 2010 Tipperary All-Ireland winner Paddy - who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer.
