Seven-time champions Borris-Ileigh are set to fight it out to avoid relegation from the Tipperary senior hurling championship after falling to Drom-Inch late on yesterday.
It finished 0-27 to 2-19 at Holycross, where the 2019 champions had led by nine points at points at the halfway stages after registering two goals in the space of two minutes via Paddy McCormack.
Looking to avoid the relegation playoffs themselves, Drom-Inch battled back into this third-round derby clash with talisman Seamus Callanan leading the way and the former Tipp captain would have them level by the hour mark.
Kevin Maher and David Collins swapped points in injury-time to keep it all square, but it was Callanan's 12th and 13th points of the evening which decided the contest in Drom-Inch’s favour.
