Padraig Harrington's gaelic football exploits were the talk of twitter this weekend…
1/3 1st time I've seen this. I didn't know the footage existed.https://t.co/MqWUIr0kgJ

BTW it was a 51 yard free kick.
2/3 you get good at hoofing a ball, when from 12 years of age you're trying to clear your lines as a goalkeeper on cold winter days

3/3 we lost that day. It was my last game of Gaelic football, captaining my school team in Croke Park. Possibly my biggest sporting regret. Huge tactical error bringing me out from fullback to mark @DesmondF12 at Centrehalf back. He ran rings around me.

A sprained wrist!? Lucky I first only got to mark him in club training when he was 36 and had two dodgy knees by then. Still too quick upstairs for me!

@jcoops think you were only taking pity on me at that stage ... pic.twitter.com/chOcTWPRqo

Who would have thought in the snow London Gaelic football team would manage to get access to better facilities to train in than most Irish #GAA teams! The full sized soccer pitch in the indoor Dome in work at QPR FC has certainly come in handy for us this week! pic.twitter.com/TU0x8cKC83
