Ollie Lennon has accepted an offer to be reinstated as Roscommon ladies football manager.

Roscommon LGFA has informed its clubs that Lennon and his management team have agreed to return to the helm after a vote to reinstate them was overwhelmingly passed at a Roscommon LGFA meeting last week.

The vote came just 24 hours after Roscommon LGFA issued an apology to the management over their controversial removal last month. Lennon and his selectors Tom Lennon, Brian Lennon and John Kennedy were told their services were no longer required after a review was carried out by the county board without the Roscommon captain and vice-captain being consulted as part of the process.
