Under 15s
Our Under 15 girls played Belmont last Tuesday evening and they got off to a great start and found themselves two goals up with just four minutes gone with Meadbh Dooley and Hannah Robinson finding the net. Belmont hit back with a couple of points thanks to Teegan Daly but Kinnitty replied in kind when Amber Mortimer and Hannah Robinson pointed to restore Kinnitty's two goal lead. Lucy Flynn hit over next for Belmont with what was to be their last point of the half as Kinnitty scored eight points without reply to lead comfortably at half time.
When play resumed, again Kinnitty got off to a great start with a goal from Kate Browne. As Kinnitty rang the changes to give some of the younger girls a run, the game became more even and the scoring plateaued. Teegan Daly pointed for the visitors before a converted free from Amber Mortimer and a point from Aoibhe Longworth finished the scoring for Kinnitty.
Well done to the girls as they ran out comfortable winners with the final score reading Kinnitty 3-11, Belmont 0-7
