Offaly U20 Footballers into an All Ireland Final !!

Massive congratulations to Offaly U20 Football team and management team on reaching the All Ireland Final following a superb victory over Cork on a score-line of 3-10 to 0-14.  Offaly truly deserved victory having completely put cork to the sword early in the game despite their fight back it would have truly been  a crime if they had to win as the Offaly score-line should have least included another 2-08. Offaly now march into the All Ireland awaiting the winners of Roscommon v Down. The pure joy and jubilation that was felt as the final whistle blew was just something else as Uibh Fhaili Uibh Fhail rang around O'Moore Park. For many young folk present they wouldn't have experienced that joy like their parents and grandparents did in the 70s, 80s & 90s. 33 years since won the 1988 U21 All Ireland.  Can We Dare to dream? Uibh Fhaili Abu.  The final looks like it will be played on Saturday August 14th. Time and venue to be decided. Rhode are well represented on the team & Panel by Aaron Kellaghan & Gavin Young.

Where attendances are permitted at games, the advice in the attached document, prepared by the National Health and Safety Committee needs to be followed. For underage games, where parents are attending in a child-protection capacity, they will count as part of the 100 spectators permitted to attend.

All grounds should have appropriate dispersion measures in place at all entrances and exits and parents/guardians should be advised that congregation in large groups on or outside club grounds is not permitted.
