Covid 19: We all at Aughnamullen GAA hope that all our members and supporters are keeping well and adhering to the HSE Guidelines that are at present. As you maybe aware the club undertook a goodwill gesture of delivering some irish cuisine last weekend to the elderly and vulnerable within the parish. This gesture was set up by the club as a result of all the times the parish has supported the club time and time over the years and we hope this token will help to brighten up your day in these challenging times for everyone
Club Facilities: At present all our facilities are closed ie Walking Track, Social Centre and no training for all our teams from Senior to Juvenile. The club realise that this is very challenging for our community but we have to be optimistic that this will change in the near future.

Monaghan GAA: Monaghan GAA in conjunction with The Monaghan Age Friendly programme have launched the #It'sGoodToTalk initiative . This was inspired by former Mayo GAA county star David Brady and Monaghan GAA in conjunction with Monaghan Age Friendly are delighted to announce that Monaghan players and management have answered the call to become involved with this initiative and have volunteered to give a lift to those who are “cocooning” and cut off from their typical social networks by pledging a few minutes of their time to make a call to someone who is isolated and have a chat with him/her about GAA or reminisce about former glory days!! A short chat in a long day for someone who is now spending all their time at home could make all the difference and we are very appreciative of the Monaghan players and management for making themselves available to be part of this initiative. We invite our supporters to nominate an elderly family member be it a father / mother /brother / sister/ grandfather / grandmother to receive a call from a player or management. Contact Mary McEneaney Assistant PRO Monaghan GAA 0876887332 to set up the call to celebrate a birthday , an anniversary or just to have a good GAA chat .
