Toome club notes

Closure: It is with great sadness that our facilities remain closed as a result of COVID-19. The health and wellbeing of all our players, members and supporters is far more important than anything else and we hope that you all stay safe in these worrying times. Please remember those within our community who are vulnerable, elderly or living on their own. Remember to wash the hands, practice social distancing and we hope to see each and every one of you back at St Victor's Park very very soon.  

Monaghan Seniors: Well done to our senior team who avoided defeat in Clones on Sunday and remain in Division 1 next season. Attentions now turn to the Championship and Monaghan face Cavan this coming Saturday 31st October in St Tiernach's Park, at 1:15pm.  Best of luck to the team and management.

Youth Services:  During this COVID-19 Pandemic it can be tough on us all, there are support services available for our youth members so you do not have to feel alone. Services available include Youth Work Ireland, CAMRY (Cavan & Monaghan Rainbow Youth), Spunout, ISPCC, Teenline Ireland and Pieta House. All these services are only a click away.

Jazzercise: Classes continue online 4 times per week, these are being organised by the Toome Community Group, if you want a fun way to exercise give it a try, contact Catherine on 086 862 3333.

Astro Pitch: Due to the recent government restrictions and guidelines our astro pitches will no longer be available to hire until measures are relaxed once again. We thank all out loyal users of the astro park for their patience and understanding.

Face Masks: The Club have a limited number of crested face masks for sale at €5 each, should you wish to purchase a mask please contact Damien O'Reilly on 087 125 2126.

Irish Dancing: In accordance with government guidelines, Irish dance classes in Toome Community Centre are cancelled with immediate effect until at least Thursday 3rd December. Further details will be circulated on social media once known. We would like to thank all our parents and students for their understanding.  

Sympathy: The Club and all our members would like to offer sincere sympathies to the family and many friends of Briege Martin (née Brennan), Rathmore, Donaghmoyne, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Friday October 16th, mother of Rosie McDonnell, (wife of David). Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
