Neil Cole has stepped down as the Meath Senior Camogie manager.

Cole who won a Meath SHC medal as a player with Rathmolyon, guided Trim to a Jubilee Cup title in 2020 and also managed the Cavan senior hurlers took up the post this year replacing Brendan Skehan in the top seat.

Under Cole’s guidance a new look Meath made a great start to the Division 2A of the Camogie League with a win over Cavan and a draw last Saturday with Westmeath at Lomans Park.

In a statement Meath Camogie said:

Meath Camogie can confirm that Neil Cole has resigned his position as County Intermediate Camogie Manager. Neil has taken this decision due to medical reasons. Neil had built a strong backroom team around him for 2024 and to that extent Tom Moloney and Gary Cole will continue the season as Joint Managers as the team prepare for their next National Camogie League game against Derry next weekend.

We wish Neil the very best and thank him for his work with the county team to this point.
