Kepak Senior Championship Gp 1
In Simonstown
Simonstown v Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels on 2/9/2023 at 18:45 Ref: Sean Gahan
A hard fought game against the champions in Dunboyne will no doubt give Simonstown hope in this 2nd round game against a confident Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels team who got the better of a resilient Skryne team in round one. The blend of youth and experienced players on the Simonstown team will be eager to take on last years beaten finalists who are motoring well after their Masita 1 Cup Final win early this month.
In Skryne
Skryne v St Peters Dunboyne on 2/9/2023 at 18:45 Ref: Finbar Shanahan

Kepak Senior Championship Gp 2
In Paddy O'Brien Park
Navan O'Mahonys v Donaghmore/Ashbourne on 2/9/2023 at 18:45 Ref: Henri Clifford
Navan have home advantage in this game and after both teams were pipped late to lose their first round games, Navan can take some solace that they were always in the game against Seneschalstown. A point from play, deep into added time shattered their hopes of getting something out of the game. Last year was O'Mahonys first Senior season in a number of years and more than held their own reaching the quarter finals last year.
Donaghmore/ Ashbourne will be hurting after their disappointment of last time out and will be expected to raise their game against the resurgent Navan team. They left quite a few scores behind them in the battle against Oldcastle and will be hoping that their experienced players will drive their team forward in this must win match for each.
In Millbrook
Oldcastle v Seneschalstown on 2/9/2023 at 18:45 Ref: Joseph Curran
Oldcastle came away with the points due to a very late goal against Donaghmore Ashbourne in Round 1 and showed touches of brilliance and sheer doggedness to stay in touch with Donaghmore Ashbourne all through the game, finally winning with a last kick of the game goal, deep into added time.
Seneschalstown are confident after overhauling an 8 point deficit to win by the minimum against O'Mahonys in round 1 so will take the long journey to Millbrook on Sunday evening in good spirits. After reaching the final in 2021 and semi final last year they hope to continue their run.
