What an incredible team these ladies are, growing up in the 80s we had boylans teams bringing great joy to young and old in our county, now we are reliving it all over again with this amazing team who bear allot of the hallmarks of great traditional meath teams of the past, it was great to see so many kids at the match yesterday cheering on there heros hoping some day that that be them, well done girls you done us all proud.

unreal...and i have to say, this squad of players & management have found the very essence of what it meant to be as a Meath person in the 80s & 90s . They now Represent that County identity , and i feel a little bit scolded that i was debating Our Senior men's Team Management appointment this week , when really the limelight , debate & focus should have been 100% on them
What they have done for Young people in the County, who , lets be honest felt like second Class GAA citizens over the last 10 years is unreal ...to feel that The Country can identify , once more with us as a county , and our proud history & tradition , and that we can point again to what we feel is us...hard work, honesty of endeavour, integrity , and out & out bloody mindedness is just fantastic
In sporting terms..they faced the same Mountain or Machine that is Dublin....and took them on as equals
These Players are unreal
Mr Murray ...take a bow , plus all other members of that Management Team
These are the Role Models of the County now

What a time to produce your best performance of the year. This team have faced a huge amount of challenges in every knockout game and have come out on top every single time. They will go down as one of the great Meath teams in history.
It is tinged with sadness with Vikki and Orlagh leaving. But I'm sure Éamonn will pull something out of the bag. I think the Aussue Rules players won't know whats hit them when Vikki gets there. She should flourish in a physical game.

Well done to a brilliant team. There was a massive Meath crowd there yesterday. The appetite for football is still well and truly alive in the county and the ladies team are an inspiration on how huge leaps can be made quicker than you'd think possible

Hard not to run out of superlatives for this team, but they show the absolute best of Meath. That was reminiscent of the 90s following Meath and it was up there again with one of the great days in Croker. In terms of getting the county behind the team - that's the blueprint, we have to hope that support will become more regular again, it was huge.

It cannot be emphasised enough what they are doing for football in the county, legends.

Emma Troy too which is huge, it might put a stop to 3 in a row possibly but there will certainly be more days in this group as all will be back

Didn't realise Emma was leaving too. She was outstanding on Sunday.

Replying To nobull456:  "Yes indeed the ref hopefully will reflect, and if there is a referee monitoring group they will say ref far too whisle happy. Advantage rule was not used and thus had a negative affect on game. Mature reflection required by the ref."
my knowledge of the ladies game is limited lads so can someone tell me is she regarded as the best ref in the ladies game or just the best female ref in the ladies game??

Surely the players would want and deserve the best ref doing the The biggest game of year regardless of it being male or female .
