Great result for a small rural club and hard luck to Trim. browncows (Meath) - Posts: 2342 - 03/10/2020 20:39:11 2295486 Link 17 |
Well done royaldunne it was some finish, always good to see a rural club beating a big town club.

That was a fantastic final will real bite to it. Aaron Lynch scored some outrageous points and was dangerous in general but the Brack defence also played well in stopping him. Also maybe I am wrong but Dean Pluck seems to have grown a bit since the Meath minors last year and his kick-outs were very good bar 2 very poor ones back to back in the first half. He'll be one to watch at senior next year. Trim will be kicking themselves but at least still have the hurling and it feels like only a matter of time before they finally win the inter. But today is the Bracks day, a great win for them. The influx of Sean Bannon from the 2017 Meath 17's, Sean Coffey from the 2018 Meath minors and Dean Pluck and Barry Thompson from the 2019 Meath minors. Great lads to add to the older core of Judge, Quinn, Carroll, O'Connor. They'll be up against it during their first year at senior but I think they are also division 1 league too so at least they'll have some experience before it starts. Castletown down to junior. I might be wrong but I think that's the 1st time the club slipped below intermediate. Massive blow for a proud club but there results this year are poor and no big surprise as things panned out glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1115 - 04/10/2020 06:53:31 2295522 Link 0 |
