Saw it for the first time at Dunboyne v Navan in the feis cup, McCarthy fetched one or two brilliant catches which were rewarded with an easy score but part of me thinks it's not football. As a forward getting out and catching the ball is half the job, not to mention it stinks of pandering to Aussie Rules. Agree looks like in the future we could b looking at gaini g money from players joining the afl.there could b method to this madness for the hierarchy of the gaa.
