Meath name Under 21 hurling team

Meath Under 21 hurling manager Mike Cole has named his team to take on Kildare in the Leinster U21 A hurling championship on Wednesday July 10th at Lomans Park Trim.

Host club Trim make up a third of the team with five players while county champions Kiltale have three representatives including Jack Regan who was the star player for this years county minor team.

The starting XV has a wealth of senior inter county experience. Conor Murray, David Foley, James Kelly, James Togher, Shane Brennan, Damien McGee Damien Healy and Adam Gannon have all played for Cillian Farrell in the NHL and The Ring Cup campaigns.

Meath reached last years decider only to be caught out by a late late point at Newbridge. Sean McGee, David Foley, James Kelly, Adam Gannon, Tom Raleigh, James Toher, Conor Murray, Shane Brennan, and Damien Healy are survivors from that squad.

The winners play Louth or Wicklow in the decider
