St. Michaels collected two more points in the B League with this easy victory over a rather wasteful St. Vincents side in Carlanstown on Monday evening.

St. Michaels were 5 points up before the visitors registered their first point on 14 minutes and with first half points from Tom Halpin, Ben Farrell ( 0-3 each ), David Lynch ( 2 ) and Graham Owens ( 1 ) the home side were 0-9 to 0-5 up at the break.

The ageless Tom Halpin opened the scoring in the second half after just 2 minutes when he pounced on a loose ball in the St. Vincents goalmouth and struck it to the back of the net. Ronan Farrell added St. Michaels second goal on 28 minutes by which time the contest was long over.
Best for St Michael's were Ben Farrell, Darren O'Connell, Tom Halpin & David Lynch.
