Meath 3-15 Laois 3-13 after extra time

The Meath Under 15 footballers made it a week to remember for county underage teams by beating Laois after extra time in the Adam Mangan Cup final played in Kilclonfert.

The Royals can add the Premier Under 15 competition at National level to their success in the Tedd Webb Cup and the Gerry Reilly Cup, both Under 16.

Laois led at the break 3-4 to 1-9 and the teams were level 2-13 to 3-10 at full time. Laois took a two point lead at the end of the first 10 minutes of extra time. 1-2 from Bobby Curtis in the second period of extra time put Meath in control and they held on for a two point win after a very entertaining game.

After the game captain Charlie Crawley was presented with the Adam Mangan Cup.
