In a tight encounter, O’Mahony’s got their second win of the campaign in the Div 4 CL v Drumree in Paddy O’Brien Park on Monday evening.

Lizzie Brennan hit the first two scores of the match, before Drumree equalised midway through the first half. After Lauren Patterson converted a free, Drumree hit two to go ahead before Brennan equalise just before half time.

Drumree took the lead early in the second half before Amanda Feeney found the net from play. Points from Áine Donegan and Ruth Stewart kept the scoreboard ticking over and Feeney’s second goal left six between the sides. O’Mahony’s withstood a late Drumree comeback, with the visitors hitting the last four scores but O’Mahony’s finished as two point victors.
