The curtain comes down on the Meath Under 15 football season with the 4 remaining finals this Saturday and Sunday. PHOTOS
Dunboyne claimed the Paddy O'Brien Cup with six points to spare over Division 1 League winners at O'Mahony's. The Navan side led 1-9 to 1-6 at the break but goals from impressive full forward Sam Eglington (2) and Sean Dowd swung the game Dunboyne's way. After the game Mary and Colin O'Brien along with Fintan Porter (County Board) presented the Paddy O'Brien Cup to Darragh Harkin. The Premier 2 Cup final served up a thriller at the same venue. Extra time couldn't separate Dunboyne and Dunshaughlin and they will have to meet again.
St. Vincents/Curraha take on Boyne Og in the Division 4 Cup final on Sunday.
When most clubs were struggling with their grounds Kilmainham played host to three finals last Sunday with wins for Killary Emmets, St. Colmcilles and Clann na nGael. Over in Ashbourne Skryne followed their successful Under 13's the week before with a win in the Division 2 Cup final and take home the Christopher Tormey Cup.
