After beating Trim last time out Kilmessan suffered their second defeat in the Meath Intermediate Hurling Championship with this seven point loss to Gaeil Colmcille on Pitch 6 at Dunganny.
The Kells outfit led at the break 0-9 to 0-8.
Next up are Wolfe Tones on Friday 22nd August at the Meath GAA Centre of Excellence
