Despite the desperate disappointment of the club's senior footballers losing out to Skryne in their championship opener, on a broader scale, the club's third team ensured the first major weekend's action finished on a positive when playing out a pulsating draw with Ratoath on home soil on Tuesday evening.

Though they led by 1-11 to 1-06 at the break, a draw at the end of the evening's work was a good result for this young Dunboyne team after a cracking game of football.
