D’imir Bhulf Tón le sprid iontach, chruthaigh siad go leor seansanna scorála ach leis an iomarca iarrachtaí ar faraoil leathnaigh an bearna idir na foirne de réir a chéile agus  bhí bua compordach ag Rathmolyon I ndeireadh na dála.

In a tough physical encounter Rathmolyon’s greater ability to score ensured victory, while Bhulf Tón were left to rue their total of wides, scores they would have needed to trouble their more composed opponents in this IHC round 2 clash at Kildalkey.

At half time Tones were well in the game trailing by 1-2 to 0-10, but only converted three chances in the second half. With determined and tigerish tackling they enjoyed plenty of possession and played with spirit to the final whistle.
