On Monday at Dunganny, Dunboyne's second adult football team completed an unwanted four-timer when becoming the fourth team from the club to lose a league final in the space of a week.

Only the minimum separated the sides at the midway point, with the Tara side leading by 1-02 to 0-04. A Stephen Moran goal appeared to have set the black and ambers on the road to victory but the tale had another twist as Skryne get over the line, leaving the vanquished outfit with the unfortunate string of recent results.
