Hurling League finals round up

July 08, 2025

Kildalkey were too strong for Kiltale in the Division 1 Hurling League final at Lomans Park Trim

The Hurling Leagues have concluded with five finals as clubs now turn their attention to the upcoming championship.

Both teams were short regulars but it was Kildalkey who proved too strong for Kiltale in the Division 1 final played at Lomans Park Trim. Nick Fitzgerald's men led 2-7 to 0-3 at the break and second half goals from Evan Fitzgerald and Niall McNally paved the way for a comfortable win.

An impressive 1-11 from corner forward Evan Nolan was crucial as Dunderry claimed the Division 2 crown after a very entertain game of hurling at Batterstown. The winners led 1-11 to 0-8 at the break.

After their success in the Billy Byrne Cup final Rathmolyon borough home their second piece of silverware in 2025 by beating Boardsmill in the Division 3 decider. Kevin Mullingan’s goal gave the Village a 1-6 to 0-5 interval lead and an early scoring blitz in the second half that yielded 1-4 put them well on the road to victory.

Kilmessan were crowned Division 4 winners with four points to spare over St. Pats at Dunganny. Goals from Jack Brady and Malcolm Doyle set Charlie Keena’s men up for victory on the new Pitch 6 at the Meath Centre of Excellence.

After three failed attempts Navan O'Mahony's finally got their hands on the Division 5 title. Dunderry provided the opposition on a miserable night on the new pitch 6 at the Meath GAA Centre of Excellence. Veteran Paddy Skehan chipped in with six points.

Clubs now turn their attention to the upcoming championship.
