Jack Brady gave the eventual winners a great start with a goal but a late scoring burst saw the Stamullen outfit lead 1-10 to 1-9 at the break.
A Malcolm Doyle goal put Charles Keena’s charges 2-14 to 1-13 in front midway through the second half. St. Pats had the lead down to a goal with injury time looming but Kyle Smith added the insurance point and earn Kilmessan promotion to Division 3 hurling for 2026.
After the game County Board Chairman Jason Plunkett presented the cup to Kilmessan captain Ben McGovern.
