Up first on Saturday morning in the Meath Cumann na mBunscol Hurling and Camogie finals was the Division 3 camogie decider played in wet conditions at Lomans Park Trim.
Having won the Girls Division 5 Football Final last November in Páirc Tailteann Killyon were back for another Meath schools crown with this comfortable win over Boyerstown.
Aine Ward was the hero for the Killyon girls scoring an impressive 3-5. The talented midfielder gave her school a firm grip on the game in the opening five minutes scoring 1-3. Erin McCormack raised their second green flag as Killyon took a 2-4 to 0-2 lead to the half time huddle.
Sally Buchanan gave Boyerstown some hope with an early goal in the second half but Ward replied with 2-1 and the Division 3 Camogie title was heading to Killyon N.S.
