On a sunny Sunday Morning our Junior team took on Drumree in Round 4 of the Division 4HL and gained their second win in the competition with a 4-10 to 0-11 win.
James Cully with 3-1 was the top scorer for the blues with his second and third goals coming at the right time as Drumree closed the gap to 2 points at that stage in the second half .Eoghan Monaghan scored 1-2 and his strong running caused problems for Drumree when moved to wing forward.
Kildalkey led at half time by 1-6 to 0-3 but hit some bad wides and should have been more ahead but Arron Traynor, Conor Barnwell, Eoghan Monaghan and Adam O'Brien got the scores to keep them in front .
Cully, Traynor and Monaghan got the vital scores to get the win and the points.
The decfence as a unit only conceded 2 points from play with some good tackling and clearences Ross Flynn and Lee Coldrick won the midfield battle while upfront Cully, Monaghan and Traynor got the vital scores to seal the win.
