St Peter’s Dunboyne… 4-19 Ballinabrackey… 0-14
The availability of county players Sean Ryan, Mick Murphy, John Harkin and Cian Duggan made a telling difference as the black and ambers came away from the Offaly border with a fifth win from six outings in the FL Div. 1.
Such a margin of victory looked distinctly unlikely at the break, mind you, with the sides deadlocked 0-11 to 1-08.
However, with Murphy and Harkin among the goals, by the halfway point of the second half, the visitors lead by 2-14 to 0-14 and the Bracks didn’t score thereafter.
