On Thursday night our intermediate team traveled up to Dunboyne to play the hosts after a closely contested match just fell short by 2 points.

Dunboyne led at the break by 1-8 to 0-9 with Matthew and James Cully and Podger Geoeghan the scorers .

A goal from James Cully in the second half kept his team in it but Dunboyne kept their noses in front to win out by 1-18 to 1-16
