St. Michaels 1-08, St. Ultans 1-13                                                       

St. Ultans found the necessary scores in the final quarter to finally put down a valiant St. Michaels effort in Sean Newman Park in Bohermeen.

The home side were quick to settle and were three points to the good after seven minutes, Sinead McCormack got the visitors off the mark in the ninth minute and this was quickly followed by Seona Lynch's effort from play. Chloe Callaghan and McCormack both added a point apiece before Paul Mooney blew the short whistle by which time St. Ultans had nine on the board to St. Michaels four. 

Lynch and McCormack reduced the deficit by two early in the second half but St. Ultans added 1-1 in the third quarter to increase their lead. A Chloe Callaghan goal and another minor from McCormack helped the St. Michaels cause but the home side outscored the visitors 3 to 1 in the home run.
