Bhulf Ton gave a very cohesive team performance in perfect conditions and although they conceded the first score, they led for most of this game. Approaching half time they had a 0 10 to 0 02 lead but the concession of a goal narrowed the gap with the margin at half time six points, Bhulf Tón 0 11 Na Fianna 1 02. 

The third quarter was well contested with Na Fianna narrowing the gap to four points. A comeback looked on the cards before the visitors hit five in a row, with Caolan Ward, Ben Reilly, Oisin Martin, Dan O Neill and Kyle Moran all hitting the target from play. Saran Ó Fionnagáin rounded out the Tones tally with a stylish "two pointer".
