Moylagh got their first win in Division 5 at the third attempt with a home win in sunny Moylagh.

Playing with a strong wind in the first half, Moylagh fell behind but quickly took the lead through points from Packie Kevin, Shane Gibney, Sean Reilly and a Darragh Tuite 2-pointer from well beyond the 40m arc.

A TJ Tully poachers finish for a goal and further points from Sean Reilly had Moylagh ahead at half time on a scoreline of 1-9 to 0-5.

Senchelstown started the brighter in the second half and clipped over a few scores to eat into the Moylagh lead. A swift move up the field resulted in Packie Kevin being taken down for a penalty. Ciaran Burke made the long trip up from full back and tucked it away to restore Moylaghs cushion of a lead.

A further goal from Shane Gibney following a driving run and points from Nathan Gibney and Sean Reilly closed out Moylaghs scoring. Final score Moylagh 3-13, Senchelstown 0-12
